Fredrik Bäckman is a Director of Photography based in Helsinki, Finland but available internationally as well.

He loves stories and aim to create images that evoke an emotional response in the viewer.
No matter the size or scope of the production, story always comes first and informs every creative decision he makes.

Fredrik has worked with some of the biggest brands in Finland (DNA, Valio, Sanoma, HOK, Warner Music Finland, Sony Music Finland…) and is used to budgets and crews of different sizes.

Fluency in Finnish, Swedish and English makes him especially suitable for different Nordic productions.
